Good luck with the exam, yo! Remember to tie your end-of-paragraph sentences back to the thesis statement! The thesis is the spine of your essay. BACK UP THE SPINE.

another trick about essay writing (besides the usual cvhs english dept stuff of "So what?" concluding statemnets) is that your topic sentances should all flow together.

if you take your thesis and place just every topic sentance after it, it should make a single paragraph that summarizes your entire paper. its really cool.
