I had the most amazing experience last night. If only I'd had my phone with me so I could have taken a picture to show you. I'll try to describe it, but it won't be anything like it really was

It sounds absolutely wonderful! Even if you had had a camera/video recorder, I don't think it would quite have captured the magic. Your words were enough for a lovely mental image. :-)

My daughter and I had a similar experience with a shrub and some chickadees. We were walking down my street and we both stopped because this shrub seemed to be shimmering with movement, and when we looked closer we saw it was -teeming- with chickadees, more than I have ever seen. We looked at it for a long time and then walked by quietly, trying not to disturb them, before they flew away.

It was magical.
