I'd try and not let stuff like that bother me except that so many people take it seriously.

It gets comical of course when they compare Obama to Hitler, Stalin, and the Joker all at once. I mean, really, Obama's a fascist, a communist, and a sociopathic anarchist? You fail political science forever.

Normally, I'm more than willing to let people be as stupid as they can, and if screwdrivers get driven into eyes, I'll probably be the first to laugh and mock. But in this case, there's a relatively small crowd of gullibles being funded by a massive interest that does, in fact, affect me directly. Every time I have to spend six hours on the telephone with a "customer service" rep from BCBS, where more and more of our household income goes to pay for less and less coverage, every time my dad needs to change his heart medication or my mom has an ear infection and I wonder if the ridiculously overpriced individual joke of a plan she pays more than half her income into, it affects me. And I want to wrap my fist in a teabag and plant it in a few ignorant faces
