This quilt came to be because for the last two years I have been collecting flannels that I like, just fun ones, 1/2 yd at a time and have sewen them together until I ran out. This resulted in a quilt that is queen to king in size (hangs over my queen bed) and a threat of divorce if I make it a regular spread for our bed. LOL.
