Goals for today:
1. Learn some Javascript
2. Write an interactive phonetics practice quiz for my students.

Normally, "write X" is a strong motivator for "learn Y". However, I discovered that I knew how to write an interactive quiz quickly and easily in PHP, and thus have learned no Javascript today. Oops.

That is the problem, that is the problem. Fortunately, I think I have come up with another goal #2 that can't be done with PHP (at least I hope).
