AFAICT most of us are prepared to embrace Eakin into our hearts (without, hopefully, heaping too much expectation on that guy), so no worries on that front. I am already a fan!

I think Ribeiro could be a really good fit for you guys, and I also think he settled down and matured a lot during his time with the Stars, so that should help. Fingers crossed that we get to find out.

It was pretty delightful all around, I must admit! My only regret is that it took me longer to roll the Baileys balls I was working on (like rum balls or bourbon balls, but with Baileys) than I'd thought it would, so we got there too late to see warmups. But still! They were right there! Doing their creating-offense-out-of-nothing thing! I swear RNH can somehow just swoop around people at will while holding onto the puck, it's ridiculous.

I have to admit I still don't know much about Schultz! Although now I'm skimming his twitter and he is kind of hilarious/adorable. And I have a bit of a soft spot for UW Badgers now, mostly because of McDonagh/Stepan, though also because of Burish.

I'll definitely be doing mini_wrimo again. I could do with it running multiple times in a year, because it really got me going in November, and now I'm back in a slump!
