Today has been a very grumpy day, but there were a few bright spots, and I feel it would be good for me to make a concerted effort for forget the crap and highlight the good stuff.

1. oxoniensis is one of my very favorite enablers, and it's really great to see her around and posting again.

Yes! I requested it for Yuletide last year as well (here's the link to my letter for that year; my request this year will probably be very similar).

I've actually been wondering if your AO3 nick was in reference to the song, but hadn't quite figured out how to bring it up yet. *g*

God, I love Okkervil River so much and that song might be my favorite, or at least right up there with the Velocity of Saul (etc. etc.) and For Real. ♥_____ ♥ I hope if you do request it again someone fills it because that is a great prompt and suddenly I am intrigued.

And my AO3 handle is indeed a reference to the song! My old tumblr username (someothersky) was too, and at one point my twitter handle was ensuingmelee. Ha.

It always makes me happy when I see you've posted something to AO3 because it makes me think of the song! (Well, and because I like your writing, but in addition to that. *g*)

Okkervil River is basically the greatest! I think my favorites besides Lost Coastlines are For Real (the song that got me into them in the first place) and John Allyn Smith Sails (because Minnesota! and I sometimes have trouble resisting depressed poets), but I like a lot of other songs, too. Because they are basically the greatest. :D

Enjoy! It took me forever to put together last summer so I'm happy when anyone gets any use out of it. Loui is wonderful and y'all better treat him right. Appreciate all the little things!
