Holy shit, apparently the rapidly developing bromance (which I talked about a bit a couple of weeks back) between Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn is so visible from outer space that there's even an entire story about it linked on the front page sidebar of NHL.com. I dunno, I think it might just be the long hair in the last pic.

I think there's a little something around the eyes and nose shape, and Jamie's facial hair sometimes starts to approach something sort of like this... But the long hair certainly helps. Though Jamie doesn't look like the last pic very often, I just like it because HANDS. His hair currently is still longish, but he's taken to slicking it back in warmups:

(This is the picture that led me to hockeyplayerswithpets, which is one of the few Tumblrs I read on a regular basis. I saw the photo on some otherwise unrelated website, and I was like "awww, adorable puppy watching over adorable boy napping...waitaminit, that adorable boy looks familiar...". :)

Man, I have so many feelings about how seguin left boston and how the msm basically ran him out of here on a rail (and that one of the local radio stations goes around and interviews teenage girls who didn't realize he'd been traded -_-) but i think above all i just want him to do well and be happy in dallas.

because I <3 loui eriksson. And I want Stars fans to be happy? idk.

Agreed on all counts!

I really want this to be one of those trades that works out well for everyone involved. I was happy to see that Loui's started to find his scoring touch again, and that Reilly Smith's been getting a good long look in the top 9. Seguin & Benn have been inconsistent so far, but they show flashes of potentially great chemistry, so there's definitely hope that they get there. And I like Peverley! He seems to have come out of the irregular heartbeat thing without an issue.
