The South, you mean? If so, yes, very... There is an awful lot I never knew about either America or Britain before living there, and I'm very glad I learned. Is your part of the land similarly betreed?

Alas, no. East Texas is similar, but it turns into scablands west of Dallas, and once you're up on the Caprock you're into the Llano Estecado, which is flat grassland slowly transitioning into desert. It's pretty in it's own way, but that way is long on open sky and escarpments and extremely short on trees.

I wouldn't be surprised... It's been speculated that the kitchen litterbin really wanted a threesome with the cooker and the washing machine, though I forget why we came up with that one. Hmm, now the big fridge has gone (we had a new one delivered) I guess the story of its great emnity with the tumbledryer is over. We had to give the tumbledryer back to Taz last year but still the fridge lurked there, harbouring its grudge until it was destroyed by it from the inside out. *sighs* That fridge had issues.

The mist makes the hills come out less in the photo - from up there, it's all rolling hills, like the South Downs or something only COVERED IN TREES. Thankyou, love. *huggles* (And Nakki always looks fantastic. ;) )

Was meaning to ask you about that - would it be best to buy tickets in advance, or can I pay on the door? And what time of day is the grand event? And will I be able to snatch a coffee with you afterwards, or something like that?

I might try and drag Jessica along-with...York's not THAT far away, but it is a railway trip. There's a giant plot I want to talk to you about, so I don't want to bring a whole army, but I'll try to bring someone
