The facts so far indicate that the mass murder in Arizona yesterday was not a replay of the Oklahoma City bombing (i.e. organized right-wing terrorism) or of the murder of Matthew Shepard (impulsive brutality arising from a climate encouraging anti-gay violence). Likely so, but I am interested to see if the older man the police are looking for turns out to be involved. I have no idea if this happened, but someone as crazy as the shooter could make an excellent weapon for the right sort of handler. OTOH, the guy might just have been a friend or another less dangerous insane person.

Edit: no, just a cab driver - Virginia Tech it is. Of course, a civil suit against Palin might still work.

Really. You DON'T want a civil suit against Palin. That would not only be thrown out of court (possibly after assessing the plaintiff attorney's fees); but would only serve to demonstrate that "Liberals are trying to stifle free speech. Yeah, they want if for themselves, but they want Conservatives censored". Why be Fox's unpaid political foil?
