So I was thinking about the concept of smells and how people are totally unique and how this goes with perfumes. Like, some people would work great with a spicy, dark odor (like dark orange chocolate or incense). Others would do well with a fresh, clean smell (like laundry fresh out of the wash ( Read more... )

I think yours would be something light and a bit flowery. Not old-lady-perfume flowery, though. Maybe lilac mixed with a bit of lavender to take away some of the excessivess flower-ness... am I making sense?

Funny - I was thinking fruit as well - maybe a mango orange lemon, tart in a good way, but sweet and smooth? I could see that working with you. Now I'm curious about me... *grin*

Ooh, this is tough. I think of you as a green, growing-things scent. But pine and loam is too strong and dark. Maybe rosemary with a bit of peppermint would capture the feeling I want?

Hmm....I would say you are lemongrass-sage...that's this soap I have that is really yummy...I think it has to do with your herbal essences that you used to use...but I think of a lemony scent with you because of your hair.....most of the times I am close is hello or goodbye hugs...so you've got a 50/50 chance of having you being freshly-ish bathed.

Are you saying I stink half the time? :oP

And even though you didn't ask, I'll tell you yours! I think you're like cinnamon. Maybe with some nutmeg. Warm, inviting, and comforting. But also outgoing in its own way because those are really fragrant smells. Think about when you walk into a room and somebody's been baking or making hot mulled cider or something. You don't know where in the room it is, but you know something delicious is afoot. It's kind of like when you walk into a room and everybody's all "who's that crazy and interesting chick?" :o)

people say my room and me have a distinctive odor, which i usually attribute to my incense getting on my clothes and hair and everywhere. so sandalwood with a bit of floral, maybe. i can't smell it myself, so i have no idea. people seem to like it, tho.
