Actually, I always thought Kurt Cobain was a little overrated. He wasn't really THAT good at guitar. I mean, he certainly wasn't Jimi Hendrix or Eric Clapton or anything. Sure, Nirvana was in there with the grunge movement in the early 90s, but they didn't start it or anything. Don't get me wrong : Nirvana was great, but Kurt himself wasn't really all that good.

The reason he gets so much recognition is because he killed himself, simply because he thought "it's better to burn out than to fade away". To some, that sounds beautiful. To me, it sounds sorta weak-minded and cowardly. Maybe that's just me though.

Yeah, I was gonna post this a lot sooner, but I felt sorta bad about bashing him on his "anniversery."

heh. I kind of agree with you, but I'm still sticking with my antics. Kurt Cobain in my opinion was awesome. Maybe he wasn't the best or greatest to ever live, true. But I still see him pretty high up ( ... )

Yeah, like I said, I'm not trying to diss Cobain, but there are a lot of people out there who are like "OMFG COBAIN IZ GOD" when he's really just a good lyricist who happens to be in the right band at the right time. Also, the tragic suicide helps to boost his hero status. He was alright, but let's not give him more credit than he deserves.

Don't worry about the reviews, it wouldn't really make any difference now, we changed alot since then so it wouldn't really help out that much now. I guess it still would be helpful to know what we did right, and what we did wrong. Any general "it's good because of this" or "it sucks because you didn't do this" would be extremely appreciated.
