Hmmm ...it seems that my interpretation of Hero has upset a lot of people. Well, so be it. I'll just repeat a few of my most important ideas

I agree with them all and live by an adaptation of 3. It means to be nice to everyone otherwise people won't be nice to you, I decided that others should do this to, and understanding that everyone must've heard the phrase before I assume they aren't ignorent of the idea so if they refuse to use it that means they don't want to be treat nice. So with these conclusions in mind I've decided to be nice to everyone, untill they are nasty or mean or something other than nice to me. Everyone gets a second chance, some get more than one, but if someone cannot bring themselves to be nice to me they obviously don't want me to be nice back, so I see no reason to put the effort in for them.
Another thing that gets me through is always taking a deep breath, or two, before dealing with difficult or unpleasant things or people.

One small point-I think you meant "their" rather than "there" in point one(sorry, but since I was replying anyway I couldn't help pointing it out).
