Sam was taking Scout on an early morning walk - way too early in his opinion, but Scout seemed to lack the human sense of normal time - when they headed past the causeway. He saw someone step out and trip, and when the person didn't get up right away, he tugged on Scout's leash and went over. "Hey, are you all right?" he called.

"I am fine," Teyla replied, pushing herself up so that she was sitting. "Just a little disoriented."

"Portal travel can do that to you," Sam said, offering her a hand to help her up. "You should be okay in a minute."

[athosborn]

"I have never experienced such a sensation when going through the gate," Teyla admitted, taking his hand as she stood up. "Thank you."
