So, with Joe Mallozzi posting in his blog the season 6 that might have been, I'm curious if anyone wants to bat about some discussion on these episodes we'll never see. I don't recall anything he said in this post being real spoiler material for season 5 (beyond some episode titles), but just in case I'm going behind a cut. ( Read more... )

I kind of liked the Hamster Ball idea too because it (at least in its vague idea form) inserts some mystery. That was one thing I liked about the last episode -- running across new aliens that we don't know anything about. Now that the Wraith are pretty well known (not to mention easily shot and killed) we need some mystery!
And I don't think seeing Shep in a "a comical and potentially unheroic light" would've bothered me any.
