She had to return to Atlantis very soon, and she'd waited long enough to try and contact him. But here she was, in their usual meeting place, waiting.

She'll be here, when he's ready to show up.

It wasn't long, and it was still too long, before he showed up. His mind touching hers, as always, was her first warning.

[Teyla...]

Her breath catches as the mental touch caresses her and she closes her eyes, feeling complete once more.

[Michael...]

He'd missed her. He'd missed her so much and it tinged his thoughts as they brushed against hers, as he stepped out of the clearing.

[It is good to see you again.] Which was about the understatement of the century, but, as usual, his words were understated while the tones of his mind were full of emotion. [How is Atlantis?]

[It is good to be seen.] She looks him over, noting his appearance, taking in his posture and how he moves, assessing him to make sure he's all right.

[Atlantis is well. Colonel Sheppard and Doctor Keller will be opening their bar soon. Everyone seems to be looking forward to this with much anticipation.]
