Canon: Gundam SEED is about the war between the Earth Alliance and ZAFT and the conflict between the two main characters, Kira Yamato and Athrun Zala. It has awesome mobile suit battles, lots of emo (and by lots I mean dump trucks full), and pink explosions. Where can you go wrong with that?
Tolle is one of Kira's friends, and Miriallia's boyfriend. He's somewhat laid-back and optimistic, but is there to jump to the aid of Kira whenever he needs it, even when there are guns pointed at him. When given the chance to leave the Archangel, Tolle decides to stay along with his friends - who also decided to continue working on the Archangel.
Because of Tolle's want to help Kira however he can, he eventually brings about his downfall. Later on in the series he becomes the pilot of the second Sky Grasper unit of the Archangel, after deciding that he wanted to help out more than just supporting Kira from the sidelines. During a battle between Athrun and Kira, Tolle tries to jump in to help Kira out, but is dies when Athrun throws Justice's shield at his unit.

This place is a little weird, you know that? I've never heard of a camp in the middle of nowhere with undead people wandering around before. But when that guy told me to stop walking towards the light and come here, I guess listening to him was a good idea after all. Okay, he didn't exactly tell me, and it was more like a death threat - how would that work anyway?! - but I'm not complaining! Even if it hurt when he kicked me.
Even if the old movie-vibe is a little creepy, the zombies are really nice! Yeah, I know they're kind of annoying, what with all the moaning and the body parts all over the place, but if you give them a chance, they're not that bad, honest!
Like this guy right here! I don't know his name, but he's been following me since I arrived, and I think he's trying to show me around. 'Course, he keeps getting distracted by other people along the way, but we did get pretty far for a while! I think we're almost to the main part of camp. . .
Aww, c'mon, man! I thought you were gonna stop with the poking thing after you lost your first couple fingers! You're really messing up the whole little speech I gave about you guys too! And you still won't tell me why you're doing it, either--
