Interesting so far; I like the premise. Sasuke usually doesn't do things with this much subterfuge, so it's a nice change of pace for his character. (Come to think of it, he's a lot like Naruto that way--both of them are pretty direct and matter-of-fact about their actions and beliefs.) Sasuke is supposed to be pretty smart, so it's nice seeing a fic where he'll actually have to use his smarts. (It's something I wonder about in the manga: except for Shikamaru, the characters never get a chance to show their intelligence during battle, unfortunately.) Looking forward to the next chapter. :)

Sasuke usually only has his own priorities in mind, and I think I am slowly introducing that. All the while, disregarding Kishimoto's travesty of a time skip. I believe living with the constant manipulation and cunning of Orochimaru would have made him much more aware of the less physical aspects of battle.
