For Iris

Waiting patiently with impatient and chipper cherub in arms, Atia looks around the room as they both call out for Iris in her home.

“Iris!!!!!!!”

“Phoebe…voice level?” Atia rubs at her ear, chuckling.

“Sorry.” Giggle.

There is a soft giggling sound as Iris appear in a swish of colours before Atia and Phoebe. Yes, she doesn't usually arrive like that, but she is a sweet little thing, so why not?

'You yelled?'

"Yay!" Phoebe claps her hands and bounces on her mother's hip.

"Yes, I think she is ready to paint now...she insisted." Atia elaborates the last word, by showing off the outfit.

A mini-painters outfit, including white cap and overalls, giving plenty room for wings.

She couldn't help but smile brightly, 'Yes, she looks just the part.' Moving towards them she held out her arms for Phoebe to fly into, 'Now did she say anything about staying the night at mine? Because I said she could if it was ok with you.'

She looked down a little, 'I just thought you might like a night off, more so now that Psyche seems to be about a little more.'

"She did indeed and yes, she can. Thank you, Iris. Really, a night off here and there like you said is wonderful." Atia replies as Phoebe flies over to Iris' arms.

"I, oh...wow!" Phoebe rushes to the bed and hovers over before just letting herself drop onto it with childish glee. After the bouncing with near in hand. All of it is so pretty!

"That will be a good long while Iris, do I have to change it when I grow up?"

Leaning her head against the doorframe Iris felt a lump in her throat and she shook her head. 'No sweetie, you don't have to if you don't want to. AS long as you promise to keep coming to see me.'

Letting out a sigh she went and sat down on the bed, picking up the bear and showing Phoebe. 'This is a Care Bear,' She said softly, holding up the pink bear, 'It's name is Cheer Bear, because of the rainbow on it's belly, and I want you to look after her while you are here ok.'

She grins as Iris takes the bear from her arms and turns to show the belly.

"Oh yes, I promise." Nod-nod. Phoebe listens intently as Iris explains just what kind of bear that this one is.

"A Care Bear? Are there real ones in the woods like this?" Out of the mouths of babes.

Stroking her hair she leaned down, kissing the top or Phoebes head. 'I believe they are, but then they do like in the clouds and travel on rainbows, So I would believe it.'

'So, you ready to watch the cartoon now? You can bring the bear with you.'
