Interesting setup. I've also really liked the macabre ideas in your concept work leading up to this, so I'm looking forward to seeing where you go with it.

Oh, there are going to be some dark bits in this that's for sure. The couple of scenes I mentioned in my reply to Amy are some of them, and I really can't wait to get to them :D

I'd say the biggest difference in the concept work and the comic is the Queen of Hearts: her outfits are completely different from that hoopskirt one now, mostly because of some adjustments to her character that just had me realize that outfit is super impractical for the type of character she is.

That, and I'm not following the original story of Alice in Wonderland as much. It originally started off as a steampunk interpretation, but has become ts own beast of a story influenced by Lewis Carroll's work, so a lot of the concept pieces re-imagining scenes from the books are no longer applicable to the story.
