The Military isn't taking care of it's own

We live in base housing. this was our choice since we are residing in a forgein country where it would cost us double what it would back in the US. The flaw with this is that the Military in all their wisdom has made having any form of Air Conditioning other than floor fans and ceiling fans Illegal on the base. And while your at it, you might want to make a call or two to the media over here... like one's not loyal to Bush...

Incidentally, Bush is responsible for this. And you wonder why such a warhark is upholding such the image too.

Here's the kicker. One of the mom's in my daughters tumbling class does one of the PSC cleaning services here on base and she says that Officer's have A/C it's just all the enlisted housing that doesn't. They sell the portable units on base and unless you plan on having half the base troop thru your front door (have have neighbors who don't seem like the call security forces every 5 minutes type) you can get away with a lot of "don't"s here. I know people who have dogs in the towers (which right now are not allowed) people who have A/C units and what not. Living out in town will allow you to have a window unit for your housing or one of the portable units they sell here at the furniture shop ( ... )
