For those of you linked in with me on Facebook, you know it has been a rather weird and hectic couple of weeks. I dropped my laptop which broke it. We are still waiting to see if the data on the hard drive is salvageable or not. This has limited any non-essential communication on the internets, as I have been limited to small work-time internet

I was just going to phone you guys to check in to see how the mold battling was going and, by some miracle, happened to be on LJ and saw this (when the $&@* did LJ start putting in ads for non-extra-feature free accounts? Ugh.)

My old MBP is available for the borrowing. It's the one that I dropped and the only limitations are a) the firewire port is fried from hot-swapping and b) it cannot wake from sleep, so it stays open while using it and then shut it down before closing (else use Insomniax for times you need to close it for a bit). Lemme' know.

Thank you again for the loaner computer. You have made me (and especially my husband) very happy.

Ironically, this is the first computer we have had which has been able to run streaming Netflix so in an odd way you have given us the streaming Netflix we gave you.
