Eric and I did a lot of drumming today. That was sectional number 2 of the 10 we said we'd do. We have to get crackin' on the other 8. After we were done with the drumming whatnot, we just did random stuff online for an hour or so before we decided to go visit Laura at work. Mmm...boy I'm glad being in orchestra requires so much less work, time, and dedication than being on your drumline asks of you. I'd go crazy if it did. Still, you're cool for stepping up to such a challenge. ^_^

Yeah, but you don't get medals if you do well in orchestra now do you?

Actually, yes we do. Solo and Ensemble competition is coming up soon! ^^

Solo and Ensemble medals are nothing. They don't judge you against other people. They just say "Oh, okay you played well. You get a one."

Independent and Ensemble is where it's at. I think I'll do a duet with Eric Hurd this year.
