My dad just called me. He made an appointment to put Emma down on Friday. It will be Good Friday. I'm going to go into work late, sometime after 9 or 10. I owe it to my mom and dad to be there when she goes. With Custar, my dad put him down when I was in school, understandable since I was 9. But he had a broken hip. I've been giving a lot of thought to participating in the St. Baldrick's Foundation event that takes place annually in Tonawanda. They haven't scheduled the event yet, but I think I would be able to raise a good amount of money for the cause. My dad told me this weekend that Remington, my mom's horse, is not doing well. He has Cushing's disease, and I think he said something about he is becoming lame also (which affects his hooves). The weather was great this weekend and I didn't get sunburned for once!  I did however get stung by a bee on my left forearm.  I hadn't been stung in years and realize how much it sucks.  My arm is bumping.  It's so sore and a little inflamed.  Luckily it happened yesterday and not on Friday so it didn't really ruin my weekend.  Damn bees.

The Project Homeless Connect Buffalo event went pretty well yesterday for it being the first one of its kind in the area.  Rochester is going to have one in October, so people were there to see what they did to get this one going.  Kathleen and her co-chair did a great job to get everything together over the past few months.  Katlyn and I worked ( Read more... )

But Propagandhi was amazing!  Even if the lead singer/guitarist likes the Leafs...that aside...Prop and Strike Anywhere blew it up.  Great show at the Phoenix.  I got a great 3 hours (almost 3 1/2) of sleep last night and got to work in Lewiston at 7.  It was well worth it, but I'm surprised that I didn't crash earlier...I'm still not really tired ( Read more... )
