Yeah, we did cheer when Misty May-Treanor and Carrie Walsh won the gold medal tonight.  Too bad China got the silver...but they were undefeated until the finals, so they did well also.  I want to watch Knocked Up and Be Kind Rewind.  Any good?  We won a bunch of movies from the beach volleyball tourney this past weekend, so hopefully in the next ( Read more... )

I'm calling into work tomorrow.  I shouldn't have worked today, because I was so wiped out from this weekend...over 35 games on kan jam and a lot of beach volleyball.  The secretary at work told me I need to take a day off, seeing that I haven't taken a day off in the 6 months I've worked there.  Time flies when you hate your job. haha  Good thing ( Read more... )

I went to Letchworth State Park this weekend with 10 people I met at Canisius five years ago.  I had a BLAST.  There was tons of beer but while I was there, I didn't feel the need to get wasted because I wanted to hike over the entire park.  Wildlife and nature fascinate me....I am thankful for a loving family for raising me to respect nature and ( Read more... )

I think if I didn't get sunburned at the beginning of summer, I would be really surprised.  Unfortunately, this is not the case.  My shoulders and face got burned while playing volleyball on the beach Sunday at the cottage.  Aloe is a god send.  So is having a day off since I started at WST.  I hope this burn turns into a nice tan.  Here's to that.
