I realized I didn't say anything about my trip to Philadelphia when I came back to Buffalo. The people we stayed with were amazing. Dan's uncle used to be a disco DJ and has a sweet set-up in their tv room, so he would be spinning records and we had dance parties. Being financially screwed must be God's way of saying, no more partying/fun. My roommates are gone, so now I'm bored. But then again, I always am. I should go to the library and print off some articles so I can read them over break. School is bogging me down. Remember at Kairos when...? I miss that weekend. I didn't think I would, but it was awesome. I forgot about Tracy Chapman and how much listening to her reminds me of my mom. I'm making sure to set-up my internship for the summer much earlier than my one from last summer. I don't want to waste any time with the application process and would like to get the interview and such out of the way asap. WHAT WHAT!
Kairos XX was this past weekend. It was an amazing experience I have to say. My soul needed it's laundry done and I'm very glad that I had the chance to go on this retreat. This weekend is Kairos. I don't know what to expect, because at Canisius, it's a big secret and no one who has gone on it is allowed to tell anyone about it. Maybe I'll get brainwashed. Watching the awesome Sabres game Thursday night, Jake and I were talking about how much we want it to be summer. So that we can fish and play volleyball every day.
