I'm pretty sure "vote early, vote often" is also in the running for state motto.
The wind in the monniker "Windy City" is supposedly a wink at polititian's hot air, and not that strong breeze off the big lake. Allthough that nickname applies to Chicago, and not the whole state, I think a lot of people associate Chicago politics with the entire state anyway.
Anyway, with impeachment instead of recall, we might avoid all the actor for replacement governor stuff that Califorinia had to go through with Arnold, Gary, and all the other celebrities.
You mean the last several governors we've had weren't actors? Heck, Blago fooled everybody into thinking he was gonna remove the tollways. If that ain't the mark of a good actor, I don't know what is....
Blago must have stones the size of Rockford for bringing out people who he says were saved by the government health programmes he set up, while being impeached for shaking down a children's hospital for campaign contributions (among other things).

Our state motto should be Illinois: More corruption per capita than any other state in the Union!.
You grow up here, you get used to it. :)

Depends on how you look at it.
I see an epic win.
That is, if you're the Illinois House...
