John sighed and slid deeper in his chair. Dr. Lee's presentation on the proper identification and containment of hazardous flora was interesting--in the same way a junior-high band recital was interesting. But General Landry had required attendance for all SG personnel, so here he was.
A boot knocked into his own. John glanced over; Rodney wasn't any happier about being here than he was, but at least he had his laptop for company. John rolled his foot to the side, knocking back.
Rodney shifted, but he didn't look up.
A minute later, he tapped John's foot again.
John smiled.
