That was darn great! Really enjoyable and fun! I loved it! Very nicely written. I always love these types of stories ^_^. Rodney as a guardian angel was amusing. Nice work.

This was good. This was OMG so good and adorable and I like screamed 'WHAT?!' at the top of my lungs when Rodney had to go away with Gabriel. I loved Rodney as the grumpy guardian angel that started to actually enjoy not-life when John came around. And the heart-wrenching Rodney saves John from dying when he saved the kid from being violated. And the scenes that had John not alive were very sad, even though Ford was still around. And Rodney coming back and saying he Q-U-I-T quit and the kissing and John at the end. All of it was extremely lovely.

*GRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINS!!!!!*
For a while there I got really MAD that Rodney had to be promoted away and Gabriel made John forget everything again. But then you made everything better! YAY!! *jumps!*
I LOVED little (well, not so little) John jumping into the lake to see Rodney on X-Mas and the bathroom scene, and AFGHANISTAN! And Gabriel wearing glasses was fantastic.
We'll just pretend this was on time for X-Mas ^___^

I was in just the right mood for this tonight: a warm, cuddly fic! (Yet with some deeper threads too-John's abandonment issues! Excellent!) I think you made absolutely the right choice in not sticking too closely to the movie; this fits the SGA universe much better and is also its own lovely thing. And now I'm all curious about what Rodney's first life, centuries ago, was like!

And my icon is so appropriate OMG.
