*Calls dr_mckay and doc_beckett over with an urgent 'Pssst!'* *Looks anxiously over his shoulder and around the room before leaning close to talk quietly*
*Shrugs* Hey, I'm just the messenger, OK? Don't blame me. Besides, have you ever *seen* a dragon crying? It's damn creepy. I think I actually prefer it when She's on a psycho-rampage looking for clones to torture.
You sounded snippy. But then you usually do *grins*.
Sorry, am just edgy because of *THAT* song, and the crying. I keep having to avoid teardrops, they're scalding hot and acidic to boot. She'll get over it, I'm just a bit worried for Dr Jackson... she tends to take these moods out on the clones and he's NOT her current favourite.
Point, about not seeing a dragon. They're, ah... They're pretty cool actually. Atlantis could really do with a couple for home defence. I'm working on getting Her to go help, which is why I'm being so cooperative (aside from the drugs). *Winks*
It'll be fine, don't worry. She's got a dragon's temper but she doesn't hold a grudge. And she does like you, Carson. Keep in her good books and I'm sure you can come flying with me some time. Of course, get *too* much in her good books and she might think about keeping you here...
"Hell yes! Don't be daft. Fear not; I, the dauntless knight of the puddle-jumper, shall protect you from the wicked dragon." Winks.
She showed me a story, by the way, where we all got intoxicated by some weird alien fruit and started having a medieval tourney... weird, but it made me laugh. Have you read it?
"Awww, c'mon. Don't tell me you wouldn't jump at the chance to study the gene further. We never get the time, what with missions, and an attack practically every week. I'm curious, myself. Wouldn't mind helping you out in the lab a bit more... you know, if I wouldn't be in your way or anything."
Puppy-dog look. Anxious to please. Or at least be useful for something besides deep-space recon and not rescuing people who deserve to be rescued and were just in the wrong place, at the wrong damn time, so now Teyla's gone all distant even though they did rescue them in the end... and he never did manage to find out what that Wraith laser-beacon thing was.
Help me with the ATA gene? What, and let Rodney think he can call me in day and night with "touch this, touch that"? He does that enough already, lad. And even the wee Ancient devices can be bloody dangerous, not just those chairs. Remember Rodney and the personal shield?

And no, because I have never seen a dragon. So how could I have seen one cry?
