Oy. I'm very sorry you guys; this whole challenge is turning out to be a lot more difficult than I originally anticipated, and I might be bumbling a bit. I just ask for your patience as I try to get things running more smoothly.

A couple notes:

1. I accidentally left off a story from the first round of voting (eep!), so if you already voted PLEASE PLEASE GO READ #22!
   
   
2. From now on, in any situation where it is necessary to email stories to me, I will be sure to confirm when I receive them.
   
   
3. There were a couple questions about the voting. Originally, as I had intended this community to be like the icon LIMS communities, I was going to ask people to vote for their least favorite fic, as well as their most favorite.
   
   However, I realized that if I did that, I ran the risk of a) discouraging people from participating because they wouldn't want to vote against someone, and 2) upsetting the participants. So, rather than increase tensions or discourage anyone, I decided to simply ask for the reader's favorite, and leave the comments unscreened, because I didn't think positive votes would be as inflammatory.
   
   Obviously, it's a little late to change anything this round, but if you all would prefer that I go back to the original game plan from here on out, I would be willing to do so. If you would like me to make the voting screened no matter which way we go, I would be willing to do so. I appreciate any and all input from the participants on this matter, and I apologize again for any misunderstandings/confusion.
