I wasn't sure if I was going to like this, but I gave it a chance and now I'm looking forward to more. Your characterizations are pretty good and the world you've built is interesting.

I like that Rodney is having to face the consequences of his actions but hope they're not too severe for him (or John.) I liked Radek's advice that Rodney should start calling challenge; I was thinking that myself.

Glad you like the world - it's a bit more rough and ready than many! But it has rules as welland the ones in the Soviet Empire were very different to the ones we did elsewhere - We did a CSI AU in the world called Glitter and Glass and had such fun, we wanted to come back to our latest fandom SGA.

But John, Rodney and Carson are seeing a very different side of things than the CSI fic dealt with which is pretty cool as well. We had fun writing it as well.
