John Sheppard had had an epiphany of sorts. In theory, he'd had a team for the better part of a month. Teyla came into the room wondering exactly what a Team Bonding Night consisted of. "John, good evening," she greeted warmly. It seemed that she was the first person there.

Aiden strolled into the officer's lounge, wearing his civvies for what seemed like the first time. Whatever John had planned, he was down for, as long as nothing important came up to basically ruin it.

Teyla and John were the only ones there when Aiden arrived. "Evening sir. Hey, Teyla." He greeted with a warm smile.

Over at the Ancient Maybe-Microwave-We-Think, John looked up and grinned. "Teyla! Glad you could make it. You too, Ford." He poked experimentally at the controls, and some Ancient numerals lit up on a little screen. John hoped that meant it was cooking, and not something more ominous.

John pointed through the Maybe-Microwave-We-Think's window, where the first bag was slowly growing. "Popcorn. Delicious, buttery, popcorn. Well, hopefully its delicious, who knows what the US Air Force saw fit to send us."
