Day 53, Afternoon, Infirmary, Attn: Sheppard, McKay, Teyla, Lorne, et al

One of the marines stationed outside of the infirmary let Carson know that Major Sheppard and the off world teams had returned - plus one extra person. Carson had frowned at that, but corralled the staff on duty so they could get the teams in and out with relative ease

Rodney walked into the infirmary right after the women and sat down on a diagnostic bed. "Carson, hi. Do you have a spare Powerbar handy?" He ignored the crowd on purpose, the sooner he could get done here the sooner he could go change and eat. And then he could start analyzing the information he got and start making a list of questions to ask Sora about the facility. Yeah, that would be worthwhile. And interesting.

Carson looked over at Rodney. "After your exam, Rodney. I don't want the powerbar to influence your results and cause us to miss something that might be harmful."

Teyla smiled at Carson. "This is Sora. She is an old friend of mine from the Genii, and has decided to come live among us." She looked back at Sora and smiled. "Sora, Carson will need to run some tests on us, but, if he agrees, I will be with you the entire time. They are painless but necessary."

John had pulled a powerbar from his vest, but shrugged and put it back. Then he looked at Carson and said, "I'm guessing your workup for Sora here is going to take a while, so if your people could get me and McKay done first I'd appreciate it."

Carson nodded at Sora. "Welcome, Sora."

Turning to Major Sheppard, Carson nodded again, feeling a bit like a bobble headed doll. "The nurses can handle you and Rodney, Major. The team members who stayed overnight will need longer exams. Although, since you did not report in when you arrived back last night, I'm tempted to make both you and Rodney go through full workups."
