Selen gave his lover a smile. "I was quite fond of the rain room as well. I took a... shower today before I came home." He took Radek's hand. "I am sorry you could not have been there with me."

Radek gave a little smile and looked down at their joined hands, enjoying the images Selen's words conjured up in his mind.

"I suspect that I will get that shower with you sooner," he said as they came to the door of their tent, "by building one here, than by waiting for me to be ready to return to the city. I know I must return there, and I will, but it will not be so very soon."

"You will be ready in your own time, carus," Selen answered. "I am not worried."

"Father!" a small voice called from behind him and he turned to scoop Lahimi up into his arms.

"How is my dearest daughter?"

"Fine!"

"That is good. Where is your brother?"

"Playing hunting," she answered. "Can I stay with Kia more longer?"

Selen nodded. "Radek and I will come out in a little while and find you."

He set her down and watched as she scurried off, then headed into the tent, his heart full of the simple joy of having those he loved nearby.

The sun falling on the tent had warmed it, but Radek wanted it warmer, and so moved directly to the little brazier to start it up as Selen secured the opening. Within a few seconds the ingenious igniter (which Radek very much wanted to take apart to deduce its mysteries) had a fire burning away in the brazier and warming the space.

Now that he could shed his clothes without fear of a chill, Radek did so, enjoying the ease with which the loose Athosian garments fell away. "How do you want me, pane?" he asked, standing naked before his Alpha.

Selen considered as he shed his own clothing. He wanted, eventually, to make love to Radek, but his ardour was banked for now and he just wished to touch and explore. He felt indulgent toward his lover, just wishing to see him wrapped in pleasure. "I have not asked you for a while what you would like. Is there something you have wished to do, carus?"
