Radek has long been a favorite, but when you put him together with Teyla they could rule the world (and nurture the golden bird).

Oh, this was lovely! The subtle way you show how the intellectuals were beaten down during the communist control, the fairy tale and the way Radek didn't understand the story as a child. And of course, all the characterizations were brilliant, and the hint of Radek/Teyla was adorable.

Oh! ::loves:: This is fabulous, rich and sweet and so nicely done. What a great take on Zelenka, he feels so fleshed out here, very rounded and real. And the subtle, strong forging of a bond with Teyla just seems to flow naturally. Wonderful. I really enjoyed it.

How strange to say this is a "lovely" story considering it's a desperate and risky rescue attempt. And yet the ending makes it exactly so.
