19-year-old Shane Evans and 19-year-old Jason Stoeklen, both of Eau Claire, are facing charges of entering a locked vehicle and criminal damage to property. Stoeklen is also facing charges of theft, false imprisonment, and carrying a concealed weapon.
Investigators say the men may have broken into 30 to 40 cars in Eau Claire and Altoona this weekend.
Police say items stolen include cd's, electronic devices, tools, jewelry, and clothing.
Most of the cars were unlocked, but some windows had been broken
Police in Eau Claire and Altoona are attempting to locate the owners of the stolen property
They are asking you to contact them if you were the victim of a vehicle break in this weekend
