John will be on vacation the last week in Sep and the 1st week of Oct - I had planned to take about a week off and we were going to Scotland. However, in the meantime I have had a 'cardiac event' that will require surgery. At this point they don't think it will be major invasive . I really need to slow down when I read. I could've sworn your subject line said "Vatican Plans".

That surgery sounds delicate. I wish you well with it.

With my typing, there's no telling what was in the subject line! Whenever I get on the pity-pot I should just get a grip and count my blessings - I have good insurance, what I have is completely manageable (especially if I do my part and lose some weight), and most importantly, I have to lean on. I mean, after all, it's his vacation too and I don't hear him whining about it.

Thanks - reminds me of a saying I once heard. Don't think less of yourself, just think about yourself less. I should be worried that John's plans are being trashed.

Yeah.. Not really.. there is a difference between self made drama and the real thing.. You are allowed some fear and thinking of your self in this situation.
