I'm having trouble with that - when I get a picture in Scrapbook, then what?

right click (on a PC) or ctrl-click (on a mac) on the image, then choose "copy image location" (or URL, or whatever resembles it). then, go to make a post, and write
< img src="paste image URL here" >
omitting the spaces between the text and the < > signs.
there should be a dropdown menu somewhere for you to choose to post as friends-only.
