Fun times over the last week and change. telemosquito got me the glorious Dragon Quest: Rocket Slime for my DS (she understands the love I have for Dragon Quest): Elasto Blast! Spent Hangover Day watching Ninja Warrior (that's Sasuke in Japan) which is about as good a start any New Year could get. Now it's back to that daily grind: time to start trying to

Looks good.. I don't have any experience with the Dragon Quest series, but I've been on the fence about getting Rocket Slime a number of times. Speaking of which, Dragon Quest IX looks incredible.

I got Touch Detective for Christmas - it's a lot of fun, and the DS is a perfect place for those old sierra/lucasarts style adventure games.

dragon quest 9 looks great, but i am a little dissapointed that it isn't a traditional dq game (turn based rpg); if it's a good game despite that though i know i'll like it. it'll be tough for it to eclipse the true classics in that series (specificaly 3, and 5-7).

monkey island on the ds would be awesome!
