We're finally receiving the gift of fluffy from above. I love it - I'm in my element, and can hardly wait to get back out into it. Hopefully it will stick around (and accumulate!) until this weekend so John and I can get out in it. Skiing, snowshoeing or maybe even just some nice trail hiking

My strategy to get on American Idol: wear an eye patch.

You tap into the sympathies of both the pirate audience and the "I shot out my eye with a nail gun when I showed up at the construction site drunk of my arse" vote. Everyone knows that Idol specifically targets those two demographics... and who can blame 'em? The nation's sense of fashion and its sense of what constitutes a good baked potato topping depend on those two groups.

yay for snow! we have some beautiful snow up here. Everything was covered in ice yesterday, and then it snowed last night so the ice still sparkles through the snow on all the trees. Very very pretty.
