Mum showed me an article about gays that had appeared in the Yale Daily News. Father scolded her. I scolded Father. Father didn't speak to me for the next hour.

It's parents' weekend at Yale. Parents come up and visit their kids. I'd really missed Dad a lot...I'd hoped he wouldn't be this way.

My dad is the same way. I feel your pain. We love each other passionately like fathers and daughters do, but we can't hardly talk without arguing or one of us getting hurt. Don't die, I believe in you, etc. etc. etc.
