I am so proud of you! Now I know two sub teachers and that is totally awesome! Theresa (my sister) graduates friday, so I am sure she will be disappointed that she didn't get you as a sub =)

have fun and stick to your guns!

p.s. I promise i will remove my crap from your house soon. Maybe even today!

I'm kinda jealous, actually. I can think of few more entertaining ways to spend your workday than antagonizing high schoolers. The great thing about being a sub is that you don't have to really teach them anything, or at least anything on-topic.

Well, I hope your background check goes better than mine did. You know the bastards in the school district up here didn't even have the decency to call me and tell me it was a no-go? They just said "we'll call you any day now" and that was three months ago. I mean, after 6 weeks I figured out for myself that they had decided I was a menace and shouldn't be put anywhere near their children, but it would have been great to hear them say it to my face.

Imagine paying for all your background checks, certification, CBEST, TB test and whatnot, then NOT getting to substitute teach. Now you have an idea of how bitter I am.
