such a shame. The poor little one. And I feel so bad for your friend. It's some heart wrenching to experience something like this b/c you've made the connection with the puppy/canine.

I know that you will Nick... be there for your friend, I mean. You and he are mad and pissed right now... and rightfully so. It may seem that no other puppy might take the place of the one that your hearts were set on. But there are hundreds (thousands) others that long for that some quality of love. i'm not telling you guys to forget about her...cause you can't (I know that I couldn't). But, if you can and still have that love, find another to share it with on her behalf.
