The Avengers: Yes, we all know how awesome Robert Downey, Jr. is, but the big surprise was seeing Mark Ruffalo in what may have been the perfect role for him. (6/19/12)

Yes! I agree! All the comic "purists" (my husband being one of them) were worried about him, but he nailed it. :)

Yeah, and it's about time. I always thought of him as Boring Romantic Comedy Guy ("boring" referring both to him and the romantic comedies), but now I'm all proud of him. :)

I've actually never seen Mark Ruffalo in anything before (probably because of the tendency toward Boring Romantic Comedies), but I thought he was great in this!
