right answer to the right question... love that part.
He wanted to grab Dom and shake him hard enough to snap him out of it. Snap them all out of it and undo it all. Make it all fucking go away.
ouch. some roads are better not traveled. i like how you explain about the bruises and scratches, and getting past it. like russian roulette. all it takes is one bad spin and it's game over.
until there's nowhere further to go, because they have both come home.
home. no place like it. no matter where in the world they may physically be, if they're together, they're home.
this was really nice. i like the way you had Billy explore their past by using Dom's body as a road map.
kerry =)

beautiful. I haven't seen a "real dom n billy" in a while. This is very very nice. Do you write a lot of fic? And if so, how come I don't know you yet? :)

Hehe, they have their slashy moments ~points to icon~. Before lotrips I was a devoted one fandom girl (rock musicians RPS), but then one fine day last fall I watched LOTR, and once I started reading lotrips after that, there was no turning back :D.

I absolutely love that line.
The things he is fond of these days are not as thrilling, but they seduce him with their familiarity. He puts his hands on Dom's chest and watches it rise and fall, rise and fall, rise and fall.
And I love those two as well.
And then there's the entire final section... I can't highlight it all but I can't pick just one or two lines either, it's just so perfect.
I adore this story, I think it is quite exceptionally beautiful. I love the simplicity of it, the way you've woven sadness and joy together to create something that captures the ups and downs of a relationship in such a perfect way. I actually read it when you first posted it but I wasn't in the frame of mind to express how much I liked it then, so instead I just kept coming back and rereading it again as every time I did, it made me feel just that little bit happier - thank you for that. :)
