Meh, I am all WH Fantasy, I'm not into the futuristic gun-oriented thing. I actually don't get the space marine thing? Why are people so obsessed with them?
I used to play WH fantasy if Taran remembers, but I never really got in to it because of a lack of people to play with. I went with high elves.
Space marines are pretty sweet though. In terms of probability, they tend to kill more units per point than the other races. A lot of people like them because of the flexibility, customization potential and such. Also, if you ever played the fallout series of games for the computer, they look a hell of a lot like the power armor guys there. I named my chapter after that game, "Brotherhood of Steel".
I hear you two like Prince George...I couldn't afford to eat while I was there so I came back to go to UBC.

I guess if someone is into futuristic stuff, space marines would make more sense. If I ever played, I think I couldn't go any direction but Kroot type stuff. Taran did say you played high elves. Personally, I prefer Dwarves. Not only are they really good, but they do well with my natural playstyle, and I like the fluff behind them (so much history and a really cool heroic value system). I actually have quite a few people to play with (even a new convert in PG), thankfully, taran and I at least always have eachother to play against. He plays Wood Elves now, which is also a awesome army. Between all my friends who play WH Fantasy, we have a lot of cool varieties of army. I'm getting the new redone dwarf army box in a week or so, I am pretty pleased.
