CAM Sketch-A-Thon and the San Diego Comic-Con 2008
Thousands of artist, writers, fans, film makers, sculptors, actors and everyone else will be heading down to San Diego for the big San Diego Comic-Con. Kid Beowulf and the Blood Bound Oath with my coloring...in print.
When I was in Santa Rosa last week I got my copies of Kid Beowulf and the Blood Bound Oath from author Alexis Fajardo and boy do they look sexy. The colors are rich and beautiful and printed with a satin finish, but also the character and title have a spot gloss, sort of like the First:Second books, and makes them really pop. I'm off to Santa Rosa to the Schulz Museum
This week I am in Santa Rosa CA to teach the animation class at the Schulz Museum. The class is brand new and hopefully it will result in some cool animations. Cartoon Boot Camp - Character Creation
Hey all, been busy with teaching the first two weeks of the Cartoon Art Museums Cartoon Boot Camp. This week it was Character Creation and the kids did a bang up job. You can see the final results HERE. Do you have a favorite? -

Hey is anyone going to the San Diego comic-con? I just saw that the 4-day passes are sold out all ready. Wow! Gonna be busy.
I will be working the Cartoon Art Museum table at the con part time for Sketch-A-Thon (It's artastic!) and spending the rest seeing whats up and networking. I might even have some cool new art to show thats never been seen. -
