Not that you would care.
Me: Mom, can you take your stuff out of the drier? It's been sitting there all day and I have clothes-
Dad: Your mother and I are talking.
Me: Mom, I need you to take your stu-
Dad: Your mother and I are talking.
Matt: I'm not talking to you!
Dad: Well I'm talking to you.
Matt: I don't care! Mom, please take your stuff out of the drier, or I'll take it out and fold it MY way.
Mom: Are you threatening me?
Dad: That sounds like a threat to me.
Matt: Just take your stuff out of the drier. I have poison ivy, and I don't want to go to bed in sheets or wear clothes to work that have been contaminated.
Dad: I think you should start going to the laundromat.
Matt: That's silly, we have a perfectly good washer and drier in our basement. All Mom has to do is move her stuff along. Her clothing has been in there all day.
Dad: We're done with this conversation.
Mom: Matt, it sounds like you just feel like arguing.
Matt: No, that's not it! You expect me to move my stuff along in the washer and drier, and I expect the same from you.
Dad: You're speaking in a disrespectful tone.
Matt: I'm not! But this a double standard. You expect me to do things for you, but aren't willing to do the same things for me.
Mom: Well, I guess your using the laundromat from now on then.
Dad: Yup.
I will now be doing the bulk of my laundry at Emily's house.
