Oh god I feel you. I don't know what kind of mission it's going to be for me, maybe I'll have to change my flight ticket to a train ticket, but the German train services as well as the eurostar are overbooked as well and not running on a normal schedule. Urghhhh.... why winter, why.

thanks, i can't believe it's this bad! i hope the weather clears up a couple of days before you arrive, because getting stuck on a train is almost worse than getting stranded at an airport. this is the WORST time for this to be happening because everyone's travelling. :( good luck to you, too.

It's supposed to clear up actually, according to Lufthansa they'll be operating on a normal schedule by tomorrow, but eh.... if Heathrow closes again my airline's not going to do jack either I guess. I want to avoid taking the train anyway because our services strongly advises against using it at the moment TOO. Ughhh I really hate this. Fingers crossed and all.

I am starting to worry for the UK. Apparently it has been 200 years since it snowed like this?

UK and Ireland. D:
Our 3rd flight ended up being delayed like practically 4 hours, but managed to eventually arrive, so I am breathing a huge sigh of relief.

Leave the UK and Ireland alone, Snow Miser!

Yea... at least you can sleep in the comfort of your own bed. I guess this is Canada's Christmas present to you, or maybe you brought Canadian snow with you. =P Anyway, I wish you safe travels (and a stable plane reservation)! Once you get to Dublin, you can put this nonsense behind you and laugh about it in the future. Perhaps it would be whenever you head back to Toronto (whether to settle or visit) and see how Toronto can manage with the snow.

Oh and I think Natalie Portman's performance was solid in "Black Swan," but if you just don't really care for her in general, hopefully her performance can at least flutter for you. The actor I think is mediocre at best is George Clooney. I think people just get so mesmerised with his smile. It's all his smile! =)

Thanks to the good karma you sent, we managed to eventually arrive, 4 hours late, lol. It's a miracle we even got through. We're going to chill a bit and enjoy the city tomorrow. Next time I see Toronto, I swear I'll give the city workers/snow sweepers a hug, hahaha.

Well, as long as she doesn't detract from the movie, I'll be perfectly happy. It's got a lot going for it so far (review-wise and people I like are involved with it). And you have a point with Clooney... I've never thought about it, but it's true the minute he smiles, you end up going, "ahhhh that lovable rascal!"
